Questions

Does my video get uploaded while I resize it?

No. The resizing happens on your device, so the video doesn't go anywhere until you upload it to YouTube yourself.

Does it work on iPhone?

Yes, Safari on recent iPhones works. Long or 4K clips can be too big for the phone browser, so try a shorter clip or use a computer.

How long can my Short be?

YouTube says Shorts can be up to 3 minutes long. Use the trim handles to keep just the part you want.

Can I turn a wide video into a Short?

Yes. Fill crops it to the vertical frame, and you drag to choose what stays in. Blur keeps the whole picture over a blurred copy.
